Delegation of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Slovenia Visiting the Military Academy of the University of Defence in Belgrade

Today a delegation of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Slovenia visited the Military Academy of the University of Defence in Belgrade. The delegation led by the Director of the Defence Policy Directorate of the Republic of Slovenia, Mr Roland Žel, on behalf of the Rector of the University of Defence was received by the Vice-Rector for International Military and Inter-University Cooperation, Colonel Associate Professor Srđan Ljubojević, PhD, together with the Commandant of the Military Academy of the University of Defence, Colonel Associate Professor Srđan Blagojević, PhD. The meeting was also attended by the ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia in Belgrade, as well as by the representatives of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Serbia.



Colonel Ljubojević and Colonel Blagojević delivered the presentations on the University of Defence and the Military Academy of the University of Defence to the delegation of the Republic of Slovenia and introduced them to the results of the cooperation in the field of military education between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Slovenia so far, and both sides expressed willingness to continue with the cooperation and to improve it further in the future.



During the visit, the delegation visited part of the teaching facilities of the Military Academy of the University of Defence. The following were shown: the Memorial Room and the Ceremonial Hall of the Military Academy of the University of Defence, the Sports Centre and the Simulator in the Pistol Shooting Range of the Military Academy of the University of Defence.



During the visit, the guests expressed their satisfaction with the presented content and capacities of the Military Academy of the University of Defence. At the end of the visit, Mr Roland Žel signed in the visitors' book of the Military Academy of the University of Defence.
