Study rules
A cadet and a student who is financed from the budget of the Ministry of Defense elects the required number of subjects necessary to achieve at least 60 ECTS points.
The self-financing students elect, in accordance with the study program, the necessary number of subjects to achieve at least 37 ECTS credits. By taking the exam, a cadet or student acquires a certain number of ECTS points in accordance with the study program.
A cadet, i.e. a student who achieves 60 ECTS points in the current school year, has the right to enroll in the next school year. Exceptionally, a cadet can enroll in the next school year, if in the previous school year they have achieved at least 48 ECTS points. A cadet who does not pass the exam in the compulsory subject by the beginning of the next school year, loses the right to education.
A cadet of a higher education unit, who for health or other justified reasons does not pass certain exams from the current year of study within a certain period, may renew the year of study, in accordance with the general act of the higher education unit.
A cadet who has been approved to renew the year of study, and in the next school year there is no study program in which he started his education, is obliged to state in writing whether he wants to continue his education in another study program, taking differential exams.
The cadet may, in accordance with the provisions of the Statute of the higher education unit, after taking the remaining exams, enroll in the next year in the younger class, in accordance with the law and the general act of the higher education unit.
