The vice rector for quality and development is responsible for planning, coordination, monitoring and improvement of the teaching process in military educational institutions. Vice-rector of the University of Defense from the ranks of teachers are appointed and dismissed by the Minister of Defense on the proposal of the rector of the University in accordance with the Law on the Serbian Armed Forces.
