Minister Vulin: Serbian Armed Forces has always cooperated with the best parts of the society
Minister of defence Aleksandar Vulin has signed, on behalf of the Ministry of Defence, agreements on scientific and technical cooperation with four faculties of Belgrade University – Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering and Architecture.
According to minister Vulin, the Serbian Armed Forces, as one of the best and most respected institutions in Serbia, carefully chooses who to work with. That is why today, they can say that they have chosen to be with the best, just as it suits the armed forces.

On behalf of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, the agreement was signed by dean Milo Tomašević, PhD. According to him, the Ministry of Defence and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering are institutions of national importance, which makes them natural partners. He believes that the signed agreement will give new impetus to existing cooperation and provide benefits of national interest.
Vice dean for scientific research prof. Aleksandar Simonović signed the agreement on behalf of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. He stresses that the Ministry of Defence and military institutions have been successfully cooperating with the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering for seven decades and emphasizes that the agreement will raise cooperation to a higher institutional level and bring more results in the field of education, research and development.
Dean of the Faculty of Architecture prof. Vladan Djokic, after signing the cooperation agreement, said that the Faculty of Architecture can contribute to and assist the Ministry of Defence from its domain of urban planning, urban design, construction works, etc, and on the other hand it can receive significant support from the Ministry of Defence in its work, in educating its personnel. As he says, the cooperation would contribute to a common goal - strengthening of our society and our country.
On behalf of the Faculty of Civil Engineering the agreement was signed by prof. Vladan Kuzmanović. He points out that the signed agreement provides opportunities for exchange of personnel, scientific expertise and joint participation in research projects. Kuzmanović also added that the Faculty of Civil Engineering can make a major contribution to the reconstruction and rehabilitation of numerous facilities and assets that the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces have and that both sides are to expect a great deal of work.

The Agreement also provides for the possibility of organising expert lectures on invitation and engaging faculty teaching staff and experts from educational, scientific and other institutions of the Ministry of Defense and the Serbian Armed Forces for the purpose of mutual advancement, as well as the exchange of scientific and professional publications in the field of publishing activities.
The signing of the agreement in the Small War Room of the Old General Staff building was attended today also by state secretary at the Ministry of Defence Bojan Jocić and rector of the University of Defence Lieutenant General Goran Radovanović.
