Analysis of the Work Plan of the Military Academy for 2022
The annual analysis of the Work Plan of the Military Academy for 2022 was held today at the Centre for Simulation and Distance Learning. After the national anthem of the Republic of Serbia was sung by cadet Marijana Bojić, today’s analysis was opened by the commandant of the Military Academy, Colonel Associate Professors Srđan Blagojević, PhD.
The analysis was attended by the Acting Rector of the University of Defence, Colonel Professor Boban Đorović, PhD in Engineering with the Rector’s Board, representatives of the Department for Tradition, Standards and Veterans of the Human Resources Sector of the MoD, the Personnel Department of the Human Resources Sector of the MoD, the Strategic Planning Department of the MoD, the Military Health Department of the MoD, the Public Relations Department of the MoD and the Human Resources Department (J-1) of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Serbia.
The heads of the internal units of the Military Academy presented the results of work in the implementation of key tasks with a comparative qualitative-quantitative analysis in relation to the previous period, problems during the implementation of tasks and proposed measures to improve the situation in 2023.
The commandant of the Military Academy, Colonel Srđan Blagojević thanked for the support of the organisational units of the Ministry of Defence and the Armed Forces and all members of the University of Defence and pointed out that in the previous year, despite the difficulties, the Military Academy fulfilled its mission and improved the system of education at the Military Academy, the Military Grammar School and the Military Vocational School “1300 Corporals”.
In the coming year, the Military Academy is expected to improve the implementation of education and training at all levels, to improve existing and to accredit new study programmes in the field of military sciences, to implement quality selection of candidates for admission to the Military Academy according to new criteria and to increase the number of students at all levels, to provide stable functioning of all logistics functions, to apply organisational restructuring in accordance with current and future needs and to fill vacancies and to have more intensive cooperation with the commands, units and institutions of the Armed Forces in the educational process and training.
At the end, concluding the analysis, the acting rector of the University of Defence, Colonel Professor Boban Đorović, PhD in Engineering addressed the audience pointing out that the Military Academy managed to raise the implementation of functional tasks to a higher level during the past year. Colonel Đorović issued guidelines for the further development and improvement of the educational process at the Military Academy.
