Attendants of 11th Class ASDS on Study Trip to Bosnia and Herzegovina




Attenders of 11th Class of the Advanced Security and Defence Studies, headed by Head of ASDS, Colonel Branko Mišić, took a study trip to Bosnia and Herzegovina, from 26th to 29th April.



This activity is organised every academic year on the basis of the Programme of the advancement aimed at the familiarisation and making a comparative analysis of national security and defence systems in the region. Apart from the educational goal, the study trip was a chance to analyse common security challenges and threats, and to discuss adequate responses to them by developing cooperation mechanisms both in bilateral and multilateral frames.

In Sarajevo, the attenders of the highest level of advancement in the system of defence of our country were received by Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Zoran Tegeltija and Minister of Defence Sifet Podžić, and in Banja Luka, they were received by Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Milorad Dodik, President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cijanović, Vice President of the National Assembly Denis Šulić and Minister of the Interior Dragan Lukač.



In Sarajevo and Banja Luka, the attenders of the ASDS were familiarised with the missions, tasks and capacities of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and with the units and capacities of the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Srpska.
