11th Class attending Advanced Security and Defence Studies on study visit to Brussels




The 11th class attending the Advanced Security and Defence Studies, University of Defence, has visited European and Euro-Atlantic political and security institutions headquartered in Brussels as part of their study trip. The Defence University and the Advanced Security and Defence Studies delegation has visited the NATO headquarters, the European External Action Service, and the diplomatic missions of the Republic of Serbia in the capital of Belgium.



The Advanced Security and Defence Studies participants have had the opportunity to get acquainted with NATO’s and EU’s current and future activities related to the implementation of current strategic concepts of these organizations.  

The delegation also includes the Rector of the Defence University, Lieutenant General Goran Radovanović, Head of "Vojvoda Radomir Putnik" National Defence School, Colonel Mićo Suvajac, and Head of the Advanced Security and Defence Studies, Colonel Branko S. Mišić.



The Defence University and the Advanced Security and Defence Studies delegation continues its study trip by visiting Paris and the military educational and political and security institutions of the Republic of France.

A study trip to Western European countries is organized every academic year for the Advanced Security and Defence Studies participants, in accordance with the training program. It aims to familiarize them with the collective and cooperative security and defence systems, as well as the national systems.
