High School Students from Petrovac on Mlava Visit Military Academy

The students of ”Mladost” High School from Petrovac on Mlava with their teachers and representatives of the Sports Association of Petrovac on Mlava visited the Military Academy today.



The guests were welcomed by the Dean, Col. Assoc. Prof. Aca Ranđelović, PhD and his colleagues who wished them a pleasant stay at the Military Academy.



The Military Academy is characterized by a military environment, an extremely high commitment to academic education and training of the Serbian Armed Forces future officers, stated Colonel Ranđelović. In addition, the Military Academy fosters cooperation not only with faculties but also with most secondary and primary schools. He especially thanked the representatives of the Petrovac on Mlava Sports Association for their efforts and the large number of students who visited the Military Academy. This type of cooperation should be continued, emphasised Colonel Randjelović.

The Military Academy was visited by 84 students of ”Mladost” High School led by the headmaster Aleksandar Filipović, the coordinator of the career guidance and counseling team Lidija Životić, and the president and secretary of the Petrovac on Mlava Sports Association Dejan Marković and Dejan Milošević.



During the visit, the students had the opportunity to get acquainted with the life and work at the Military Academy as well as with its great tradition. They were also shown a part of the teaching and accommodation facilities.
Apart from getting familiarised with the Military Academy, students and cadets tested their strength by playing men’s and women’s competitions in futsal, 3x3 basketball and volleyball.



At the end of the visit, there was a joint lunch and the indispensable army beans.
