SAF members’ success at 30th Novi Sad Half Marathon

As in the previous years, SAF members have achieved notable success at the 30th Novi Sad Half Marathon in which a record number of participants from about twenty countries participated.



Military employee Milivoje Jovović from the SAF Technical Test Centre won the Half Marathon’s main race. He ran the 21 km race in 01:14:58.
 
Military employee Tijana Kabić from the 1st Training Centre and Second Lieutenant Jelena Sarić from the River Flotilla took 2nd and 3rd places in the women’s half marathon race.
 
Military employee Nataša Ćulafić won the 10.5 km women’s race, whereas the River Flotilla team won the relay race, ahead of Military Academy cadets and Gendarmerie members.



SAF members actively participate in a large number of domestic and international competitions achieving great success, as a rule. Their success is the result of great attention that is paid to physical fitness in the Serbian Armed Forces, in an effort to create a physically fitter and more resilient fighter, who deals more easily with strenuous work and difficulties while performing tasks.
