Ambassador of Italy to Serbia Delivers Lecture to 12th Class Attending Advanced Security and Defence Studies at "Vojvoda Radomir Putnik" School of National Defence




The Ambassador of the Republic of Italy to Serbia, H.E. Luca Gori was invited to deliver a lecture to the 12th class of the Advanced Security and Defence Studies at "Vojvoda Radomir Putnik" School of National Defence, the University of Defence.



The lecture, moderated by the Head of the Advanced Security and Defence Studies, Colonel Branko S. Mišić, was entitled "The State of Bilateral Relations with the Republic of Serbia and Views on Security Challenges, Risks and Threats in Europe and the World".



During his comprehensive presentation and discussion with the 12th class of students at the Advanced Security and Defence Studies, Ambassador Gori referred to his country’s views on the situation in the Western Balkans region, emphasising the importance of cooperation between the Republic of Italy and the Republic of Serbia which have a strategic partnership in the areas of economic, defence, cultural and other types of bilateral cooperation. He particularly highlighted the commitment of the Republic of Italy to accelerate the EU accession process of the Republic of Serbia, considering the economic and other results achieved since the candidacy for the EU membership.



Apart from the Head of the Advanced Security and Defence Studies and the 12th class participants, the lecture was also attended by the Head of the School of National Defence, Colonel Mićo Suvajac.
